In November 2023, I developed a website for Indecon (Indonesian Ecotourism Network), a leading NGO in sustainable tourism in Indonesia. The website was designed to enhance Indecon’s digital presence and provide easier access to information for partners and the public. With a tight deadline of just seven working days, the project required an efficient approach without compromising quality.
To achieve this, I used WordPress with a custom theme, ensuring easy content management for Indecon’s team. The design was responsive and user-friendly, reflecting the values of ecotourism. Additionally, the website was optimized for SEO and speed to improve search visibility and user experience. Key features included dedicated pages for programs and projects, an ecotourism blog, a partnership registration form, and an interactive gallery for photos and videos.
The website was successfully launched on time and delivered significant benefits to Indecon. They can now manage and update content independently without technical assistance, while information accessibility for partners and the public has greatly improved.
